THE NEBO

Depth : 30 metres

Features : The Nebo  wrecked at this site in 1884 after hitting the Shoal and sunk immediately.  It is upside down and makes interesting diving.  Visibility is often affected by the SAFCOR refinery so make sure conditions are clear before venturing this dive.

THE PINNACLES

Average Depth : 12 metres

Max. Depth : 15 metres

Features :   Best colors are seen here.  Abundant fish life and goldies but not advisable on big swell and strong current.

MANTA POINT

Average Depth : 18 metres

Max. Depth : 24 metres

Features :  Tropical fish are plentiful and occasionally ribbontail ray can be spotted.

THE PRODUCE

Average Depth  :  27 metres

Max. Depth  :  30 metres

Features :  The Produce  wrecked after hitting the Shoal in 11 August 1974. The crew was rescued by SA Oranjeland which then in turn wrecked off the East London coast on 13th August 1974.  There were no deaths.   A very interesting dive.  The wreck is broken up into two sections and resident bass are often spotted. 

TIGER COVE

Average Depth : 14 metres

Max. Depth : 14 metres

Features :  Rays, skates and sand sharks.    The ledges make for very interesting diving and well worth exploring.

NORTH SANDS

Average Depth : 12 metres

Max. Depth : 15 metres

Features :  Reef is sandy and flat and rays, sand sharks and skates are often around.

LIONFISH HOLE

Average Depth : 12 metres

Max. Depth : 16 metres

Features :  As the name denotes, lionfish are resident along with many other marine fish.

SOUTH SANDS

Average Depth : 15 metres

Max. Depth : 18 metres

Features :   Skates, rays, sand sharks and guitar fish are in abundance

RAGGIE CAVE

Average Depth : 15 metres

Max. Depth :  18 metres

Features :  This is THE HOME to the ragged tooth sharks.  A brilliant dive amongst the raggies!

CATHEDRALS

Average Depth : 24 metres

Max. Depth : 27 metres

Features :  Large caverns and caves as well as resident ragged tooth sharks and large fish.  A very enjoyable dive.  A torch is advisable.
